Guided, abrasion resistant, incremental, magnetic length measuring system with speed proportional output of square wave signals.

The resolution is 0.005 mm and the repeating accuracy ±0.01 mm. The guide rail length can reach up to 2 m.

Two different versions are available:

1. FMIX3 without reference pulse and without integrated final positions

2. FMIX5 with reference pulse and with integrated final positions (begining and end of the magnetic tape are recognized by the sensor).

The incremental linear system PMIX is based on the magnetic length measuring systems EMIX/LMIX of ELGO and is suited for very different length measurements.

Due to a no contact measuring principle it offers a robust and abrasion resistant alternative to conventional linear measuring systems. The sensor head and the magnetic tape are fix integrated in a mechanical profile and are optimal guided when moving lengthwise.

Therefore the system can be installed and connected immediately.
